Tim Hortons was my first job ever at 15 years old, it was a fun and rewarding part-time position that has grown into a career for me.

Once I finished school I was promoted to various in-restaurant management roles and eventually a new position was created for me that perfectly suited my skills and interests.

I really enjoy my career in restaurants - everyday it brings new challenges and adventures. Working with all the leaders and team members in our restaurant group brings me incredible job satisfaction in an educator position.

There is still more upward opportunity for me at Tim Hortons and with THYYC – and I look forward to where this will take me in the years to come!

Restaurant Manager, Riverbend

Tim Hortons has been a part of my life for decades. I remember visiting Tim’s as a kid in Riverbend and having family working at various locations.

I started my career at Tim’s and after a few years joined the THYYC family – working in the drive thru at a smaller location. With the encouragement of the ownership and a strategic succession plan, I moved into various management positions at different locations.

I now am the restaurant manager of a full restaurant with drive thru and simply love the team members and guests that I am around daily. With the expansion plans of THYYC – I am excited to be apart of their growth and eager to take the next step within this organization!

Senior Restaurant Manager, Forest Lawn

I have worked in restaurants most of my life. I approached one of the owners of THYYC in 2009 after experiencing management issues with my previous employers, and I was welcomed into the Tim Hortons business.

I progressed from team member to drive thru lead, supervisor, assistant manager – and now I am the senior restaurant manager of one of the busiest Tim Hortons restaurants in our ownership group. For 15 years, I have been supported by a great administration team that always has my back and I know my efforts are appreciated.

My older brothers’ first job was at the Tim’s in Chestermere many years before it became my first job. I remember how excited he was before his shifts and the fun stories he would tell after work, I always wanted to follow his footsteps!

My first day at Tim’s was a nervous and special day and after a few shifts I became more confident with the help of my trainers. My best friend Lucy then got a job working with me and with the friends I have made at my Tim’s – it really feels like family here. My manager is very flexible with my shifts and the scheduling app on my phone makes it easy to manage my school and work!
