Meet The Team

In 2005 Andrew opened his first Tims in Chestermere, Alberta – growing to five locations in the next 9 years. Andrew & Doug partnered in 2015 to open and acquire 9 more restaurants in the Calgary area in a 5 year period and continue to grow the business today.


  • Founder

    Andrew started his career with Tim Hortons in 1995 – managing Development and Engineering for western Canada. In 2005 Andrew purchased his first location in Chestermere, Alberta – growing to five locations in the next 9 years.  Andrew and Doug partnered in 2015 to open and acquire nine more Tim Hortons’ locations in the Calgary area in a 5 year period and continue to grow the business.


  • Founder

    Doug has been with Tim Hortons since 1994, starting his career as an Operations Representative in Toronto, Ontario. Over his career, Doug moved with the Tim Hortons Brand across Canada multiple times and progressed to many leadership roles, with his last position as the Vice President – Western Canada Operations. Doug joined THYYC Inc. in 2015.


  • Director of Operations

    Roque joined our group starting in a restaurant manager role, opening our busiest location - after owning his own restaurant for almost 2 decades. A few years after successfully building this Tims into one of Alberta’s busiest restaurants, Roque’s role was expanded to include oversight of three locations, until he assumed his current role, overseeing all restaurants within our group. Roque’s experience and hands on approach to supporting the restaurant leadership team has allowed for tremendous growth in our management teams.


  • Director of Analytics and Operations Standards

    Sandeep started working at our Chestermere Restaurant at the age of 15 – back in 2007. A great part time job going through school turned into a career as he held various leadership roles within our organization. Sandeep’s passion for analytics and information technology is a huge asset to our business and great support to our restaurant managers.


  • Director of Hospitality and Training

    Matthew leads hospitality and training for our business, ensuring that guests always receive the friendly, fast, and accurate service we’re known for here at Tims. He joined THYYC in 2023 after beginning his career in management consulting, jumping right in running our busiest restaurant through a renovation. Matthew brings his passion for the restaurant business to our teams every day, working side-by-side to implement exceptional service.


  • Maintenance Manager

    Myron started with our organization in 2019 after spending over 22 years with CMR Services in Calgary. Myron has an amazing talent to fix anything that breaks in our restaurants. His fundamental approach to ensuring we have fully functional and safely operating equipment is a huge asset and support to our restaurant teams.


  • HR and Property Manager

    Sandra joined our restaurant group in 2016 as our HR manager, coming directly from Tims’ corporate office, where she was the HR manager for five years. Prior to her Tim Hortons career, Sandra was the HR manager at The Home Depot.


  • Controller and Office Manager

    Janice joined our restaurant group as ‘Employee #1’ back in 2005. Coming from McDonalds restaurants, Janice was very familiar with the quick service industry and her talents as a restaurant leader allowed her to hold various leadership positions within our organization. Day to day, Janice supports our restaurants’ book keeping and financial management.


  • Chief Financial Officer

    Yvette came to our organization after 21 years at the international firm – PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she was an audit partner. Since joining our organization in 2017, Yvette has helped manage our restaurant growth by overseeing and controlling operating costs, managing all aspects of accounting for our companies and ensuring government reporting is controlled in house.


  • Office Admin

    Natasha joined our group in 2019 assisting in various aspects of office administration working alongside Sandeep to set restaurant goals and celebrate results. Natasha’s strengths in accounting and administration allow her to assist various departments with her flexible work schedule.
